GOING FOR A FULL LICENCE:
You must have held your Restricted Licence for 18 Months if under 25
year old or 6 month if over 25 years old before booking your Full Licence
Test.
This time can be reduced to 12 months if under 25 years old or 3 months
if over 25 years old by doing an advanced driving course (Street Talk)
.
Note You should have done 6 months driving before attempting an advanced
course.
- Go to your local Driver licensing agency.
- Produce your Restricted Licence as proof of your identity and age.
You will also need proof of your current address this can be a
Bank statement or similar type document not more than 12 months old
or a telephone, gas or electricity account not more than 6 months old.
- Pay $115.10c
- Pass an eyesight check
- Provided a signature
- Have a photograph taken
? Helpful Hint Have your N.Z.I.D.E.I. Driving Instructor check your driving
skills are complete for the test.
A booking can be made at the agency office to sit your practical test.
- When you pass your test you will be given a temporary Licence valid
for 21 days to use until you receive your Full Licence in the
post. (approx 2 - 3 weeks)
CONDITIONS OF A FULL LICENCE:
- Carry the licence at all times when driving.
